Help and Motivate

God will not play babysitter for the Human race, that also means Nature. We must accept the balance needs us to comprehend infinite growth is not natural. Everything does fall under a natural cycle that we must fall in line with, learn from and design for. Our ancestors knew it. Surrender to the fact we are on a finite planet and we must realise our solution to balance is within natures resources. Lets grow up as everything is shifting and is all on the table now as to create new directions. The constant profit propaganda is flimsy as the currency it advocates. Those who have our fiat currency should support the ones without in order new means for all can come forward. All we all have to do is change our MINDS. Stop clinging to what is failing, surely it is noticeable even to the thickest skin. Believe in our ability and we can create solutions that deliver the means to eat and live in natural ways. This should already be a choice but clearly it is not one that creates constant needless development. Things could be nurtured with purpose and understanding not for profit but efficiency and need. At least if some choose it and can prove it through collective support we may have a chance. Be Well and respond!!!!

WELCOME

We are glad you have found us, where have you been! It has been a few years in the making this project and a journey to finally make it happen. We feel after engaging various projects, ideas, designs and inspirations there is a big lacking in actually getting on with things hands on. We also feel that interaction should be enjoyable and choose it as a way to activate our energy towards creating something that we own and benefit collectively from. The first hands on project is underway at Rockingdean Studios. There we are building a design incorporating Natures Flow using recycled materials and lots of creative innovation.

We believe in investing our own effort, capital and resources to develop our own futures and are now opening our door to invite others. We believe in creating ways that reduce the insatiable need for money by using it in knowledgeable manner where Nature will actually benefit and provide the main resources that we can show a working, living prototype for human benefit. This can be utilised through Open Source frameworks and all our own creations will be released designs under Creative Commons Licensing. This will see drastic economic reductions for the developers.

Please read through our various posts explaining LandTribe and feed back to us should you be interested in joining the various areas where you can become involved. This will be supported with a website in the near future but we also have a very limited online life up until now. The main parts of LandTribe are interactive in a physical way. All elements however will be developing so please do keep linked with us should you have an interest, we will value your support. Lets grow this together for something better and participate in the chance to create your future habitat.

These blog pages are in short for now and as we prepare for our September launch we will add info on how to get involved in the workshops, support us and become part of the LandTribe land project.

Partnership Outlines of Landtribe

Below are outlines yet as we are just emerging we also want to gain inputs on our way forward through interaction of the collective. As a result things may change. It is hoped by the end of 2014 we have at least 50 people together wanting to create our first productive farm. This will show and operate as a working example that can be applied in urban or rural situations. The same technology releases restraints and is free to humanity. Here we wish to congregate the clan who would like to see this happen for their natural life and biological self.

When we talk of partnership there a few areas how a person can get involved with or support Landtribe. We run as a membership working along co-operative lines within a pvt ltd company. Shareholders are people joining together to achieve certain ends. Membership options are outlined below yet should you not want any of those, but like our project, support us by buying some music or make a donation. Whatever level we hope we can gain your support to enable our intention of providing open source designs that can be implemented within not only our project, but personal or community based incentives along the same lines. We focus on providing localised solutions with high level designs and efficiency using predominantly natural resources, locally available materials and cutting edge technology.

Landtribe is to be extensively involved in creating the Rockingdean venue and gives us a great opportunity to further establish our presence, enable promotion, take and make orders and run a workshop whilst working towards our own land project. We currently have a sample hydroponic Grow Wall onsite being planted and have begun the geodesic dome that will house the Nursery and make available internal workspace.

WORKSHOPS

Landtribe Workshop Club

Is to be an interactive, experiential and educational workshop for all ages. Set over a period of a year so that all seasons are taken into account whilst development of our site in Rockingdean Village, Rottingdean continues. The Landtribe Workshop Club touches on many areas of resource based living connected to seasonal variations and eco based technologies, old and new. The main outlines being how to develop our own food, shelter and energy systems and understand how they all work together to provide for our needs. We will be making our very own systems over the course of the project and cover many skills in a hands on fashion and actually put them to use to see things in action. There will be limited places for each workshop and will be on a first come first served basis depending on booking fees. This will be for the whole project or specific parts within it. It's your choice what you wish to be a part of.

Knowledge gained will at least give participants the ability to undertake similar projects as a rewarding hobby in their own living situation. Promoting localized abilities and management skill is at the forefront of outlooks and continual interaction over the long term towards creating a healthier environment for our social and ecological benefit.

Members also may want to take steps further and invest in Landtribe as a shareholder and join our Eco Lodge projects. This is not only based on shares in Landtribe but gains the person direct access to land should they also wish to have such an existence. At this stage it is not on a permanent, live in basis yet projects over the long term will be once we have shown our designs are actually an advanced system. The design is not entirely unique but draws on many methods and technology incorporated into the symbiotic relation the overall design provides.

Workshops will commence in September 2014 at Rockingdean Studios. Contact Gary 07443466672 or email landtribe@gmail.com  for registration details

SYSTEMS

Systems are chosen that serve three focused areas that all interact and relate to each other. As anything within 'Natures Flow' already shows us. Our focused areas are as follows.

1. Food Production - Permaculture based solutions will be chosen once land becomes available to us and our nurseries will provide food, plants and cuttings. The nurseries will be Geodesic domes with an internal design that allows all year round growing conditions.

2. Habitats - We are primarily using Geodesic structures for our nurseries. Evolved designs using the same structure will enable modern habitats for living. They are reputedly the most efficient design for material quantities and functionality that exist.

3. Energy - We will derive our energy from Solar, Wind and Biomass systems all linked together. Peltier and various other systems will be added thereafter raising efficiency even further.

ABOUT

The Land Tribe is a collective effort that gathers partners who share an interest and desire to address areas that support our lives in the areas of food, energy and shelter in connection with Nature.

The Vision is to own land and create an award winning eco based project that inspires and empowers. This project is to showcase symbiotic designs that embrace the 'Natures Flow, and leads to highly efficient, productive eco systems. These systems improve and nurture the ecology of the site and are intended to be of a zero carbon footprint. They will also be an example of how we can embrace nature whilst creating efficient and beautiful habitats that benefit all.

The overall imperative is to have an Eco Farm that enables production of our own food, nursery shelters and onsite power and can offer accommodation in the lodges and campsite. Workshops will be a continual aspect that we also run onsite throughout the year.

Our Steering Committee comprises of people working in professional fields and collectively allow our project a comprehensive knowledge base appropriate for our project. We have been working on developing our intentions further through our newly formed partnership named Landtribe and have multiple designs selected for implementing our first project. These systems and methods will be made as working prototypes at our site in Rockingdean Village, Rottingdean.
